An Xmas Ornament

I thought I would show you all my sample of an xmas decoration I will be making for the family. I created a template from a christmas decoration I had. (traced it onto clear plastic sheet) cut it out and used this to cut all the paper. The papers are Pink Pasilee, and the velvet ribbons and snowflake are Maya Road. It was actually extremely hard to take a picture of this. Of course if I had a christmas tree set up it would have been easier!! Ok so here it is.............................

Snowman made out of Maya Road Scraps

I made this super cute snowman the other day out of some scraps of Maya Road, see the picture below. It only took about 20mins as well, so its easy!!

I Trimmed the small flower circle so it could from the head, then covered both sides with scraps of white cardstock, use the small circles that are in the centre of the MR flowers, ink black and attach to form eyes and mouth, cut a nose from the part of the small circle you cut away to make a nose and cover with paper (or ink) use a branch from the Birds of a feather chipboard to cut some arms and attach from the back. Add a ribbon loop at the top I then recovered the back with patterned paper. Then add some buttons and ribbon, as easy as that and scraps used that we normally throw out!!

What Your Handbag Says about YOU

bgcolor="#EEEEEE" align=center>

What Your Handbag Says About You

You tend to be relaxed throughout the day. You are naturally at peace.

You are a high maintenance person. You feel lost outside of your normal environment.

You are a very creative person. Your life tends to be a whirlwind, but you always seem to pull it together.

You are practical and down to earth. You tend to be a rather reserved and quiet person.

What Flavour Popsile Are You

You Are a Cherry Flavored Popsicle
You are sweet and friendly. For you, summer is all about doing your favorite things.
You are a nostalgic person. You love old fashioned things like ice cream trucks.

You savor everything. Every taste of summer, the feeling of the sun, the smell of the beach...
Of all the types, you love summer the most.

Other then that not much happened here over the weekend. All very quiet and peaceful.

Mid week Madness

Well we have passed the mid week hurdle....yes. Now that I am working part time again my body has gone into a state of shock....LOL. But its good to being earning some of my own money again, that I can donate to various scrapbook shops.

Steve has now left Fort Polk ( before the Hurricane hit) and they have driven up to Fort Leavenworth. He says its lovely with lots of old buildings. He is staying on base in a VIP room!! What a life. We finally got to chat yesterday which was good. We are looking forward to him coming home though.

Thats it for today I am now going to add a new project I have been working on
